Vintage Pottery Vase, Ceramic Planter, Ungemach UPCO, 1776-1976, Bi Centennial, Indoor Garden, Home Decor, Rustic Brown, Collectible

$126.80 $158.50

The beautiful rustic golden brown Ungemach pottery planter/vase is in great condition. The bottom shows, "Ungemach Bi-Centennial USA" with "UPCO" inside of a six-sided frame. While this gorgeous pottery planter is in the shape of a bell, the inspiration for the particular design came from the Liberty Bell. The Liberty Bell is considered a very important symbol of American Independence. According to references, the crack in the front of the Liberty Bell supposedly happened sometime in the late 1700's when the bell was rung in the Philadelphia House - now Independence Hall. Hence, this gorgeous Ungemach pottery planter/vase celebrates the Bi-Centennial of the birth of American Independence from 1776-1976. The beautifully embossed accents along with its rustic golden brown color give this gorgeous pottery planter a warm rustic colonial-farmhouse charm. Also, it is important to point out that even though this planter has a footed bottom on which it can rest, it might be possible for the planter to be hung via the .5" hole at the top.

Please note that screen resolution and/or original lighting could cause the colors to appear lighter or darker than actual. Also, the ChapStick is not included in the listing as it was used for scale purposes only.

There is a surface chip in the distressed off-white covering of the round base. Other than this, there are no breaks, cracks, chips, or repair places on this gorgeous rustic golden brown Ungemach pottery planter. There are some vintage wear, age, and rub marks on the planter - mainly in the form of rub marks, distress, and discoloration on the round foot of the base. While the planter has been washed with mild soap and water, the round footed base on the bottom shows signs of discoloration and age.

The decorative possibilities for this gorgeous rustic golden brown UPCO pottery planter are many. The display case or open collectibles shelf would be enhanced by the addition of this incredibly detailed ceramic treasure. Also, the dining room or living area would welcome this beautiful planter for its warm rustic colonial-farmhouse charm. Whether it is used to hold a selection of colorful succulents, a fast-growing vine, or nothing at all, this planter would be a very attractive addition to any room. In addition, the growing collection of ceramic arts would increase in value and interest upon the arrival of this bell-shaped pottery planter.

The collector will appreciate this beautiful Ungemach pottery planter/vase for its great condition, warm rustic colonial-farmhouse charm, incredibly detailed accents, and gorgeous overall appearance.

The beautiful rustic golden brown Ungemach pottery planter/vase weighs 42.2 oz.

The bell-shaped ceramic Bi-Centennial planter measures 7" tall x 7 3/8" wide across the round bottom from outside to outside.

The opening measures 3" tall to the bottom of the opening and approximately 5 5/8" tall to the top of the opening,

The opening itself measures approximately 3" tall x 4.25" across from inside to inside.

The hole at the top measures approximately .5" across from inside to inside.

If you are from outside the United States and you wish to purchase this product put in your correct address and it should populate a quote. If a shipping cost cannot be populated outside of the United States it is possible that the item is too big to be shipped or it is listed for local pickup only. ***Note on Measurements: All measurements are taken and described as close as possible. Where only an approximate measurement is available we will put approximately in the listing.

***Our Measurements for clothing are taken with the garment laying flat with closures fastened - zippers are zipped and buttons buttoned.

***The Bust measurement is obtained by measuring across the flat chest of the garment from armpit to armpit and then multiplying that number by two. To get the chest measurement simply divide the Bust by two.

***We clean our vintage inventory of surface dirt and dust before we list it on our site. We would not want to receive something dirty so we are not going to send our customers something with original dust or dirt. Therefore, after shipping we generally recommend all items be cleaned before use. This is not always because they are considered unclean but simply to make you aware of the possibility of needing to be cleaned after shipping and handling. This does three things: (1) It helps you know your item, (2) It helps you ensure your item is clean according to your standards, and (3) It removes any dust or grime that may have come from the shipping and delivery process.

***Unless noted in the description, we normally do not polish or repaint our inventory as many of our customers prefer the vintage patina look over a new painted or polished appearance.

***Please pay close attention to the pictures as they may show more than I may be able to explain.

***Please note that sometimes we enhance our pictures for sharpness and clarity.

***We aim to be good stewards of our planet; therefore, we may use or reuse boxes and/or packing that are clean and ship worthy.

***The year of production or year-it-was-made is an estimate based on experience, similar items, and/or appearance.

***Textiles and Fabrics such as linens, tapestries, clothing, tablecloths, or simple craft materials may be wrinkled or have lines upon arrival as they are folded for shipping. It is recommended they be laid out or hung up.

***As is common with pre-owned items they could have little marks that are not so easily detectable - we refer to these as vintage wear and rub marks. While I do personally inspect each item, I can miss small marks that may not show up with regular inside light. That being said, I try to be very picky and careful to make sure the details are explained truthfully, honestly, and upfront.

***Virtually all pre-owned items have vintage wear and rub marks. This is simply a term that we have coined to point out that because: (1) they are older, (2) most likely they are not in their original plastic, wrapping, or packaging, (3) have been stored, (4) transported, (5) and handled - they are very likely to have little, small, or slight discolorations, marks, places, wear, etc. Hence, this is why we often have longer descriptions. We try very hard to make sure you know what we know.
