The beautiful Stetson China Company creamer and sugar-bowl with matching lid are in great condition. The gorgeous off-white eggshell appearance is beautifully accented with a brown and touch-of-green pine cone motif. The round base of each of these Stetson dinnerware collectibles reveals they were produced in the USA. Also, these particular pieces are becoming harder to find due to their limited production period of approximately 1946 to 1965. According to references, Louis Stetson started the Stetson China Company in 1946. The single sided accent on each of these beautiful serving wares hearkens back to the Mid-Century Modern era. The stunningly simplistic, clean, and yet colorful accents on these gorgeous Stetson China Company pieces have a very unique minimalist tone. In addition, their minimalist tone is enhanced by very new-age modern lines. Hence, the continuing appeal of nearly all things Mid-Century.
Please note that the actual color-tone of each of these beautiful Stetson China Company serving wares may be a little warmer or lighter depending on screen resolution and original lighting used during photography.
There are no breaks, cracks, chips, or repair places on these gorgeous Stetson China Company dinnerware pieces. There are some vintage wear, age, and rub marks on the creamer and sugar-bowl - mainly on the bottom of each round base where they have come in contact with different surfaces. Also, there is some crazing going on under the glaze of each of these gorgeous Stetson China collectibles. Crazing is another way of describing tiny hair-like (or smaller) lines beneath the exterior sheen of the glaze. Crazing is not from damage but most likely due to age and/or original materials used during production. In addition, there are some small imperfections in the form of a tiny dark spot on the interior of the creamer and a couple on the underside of the lid of the sugar-bowl - one of which is very tiny located on the inside of the lip-edge.
The decorative possibilities for these beautiful Stetson China Company dinnerware items are many. The china cabinet or display curio would be enhanced by the addition of these beautiful china treasures. Also, the open collectibles's shelf would welcome each of these off-white eggshell serving wares for their stunning mid-century modern design. In addition, the growing Stetson China Company collection would increase in value and interest upon the arrival of these beautiful pine cone theme serving wares.
The beautiful Stetson China Company creamer and sugar-bowl with matching lid weigh 24.8 oz.
The gorgeous raised-neck creamer measures 5.5" tall x 2 3/8" wide across the round base from outside to outside x approximately 4" wide in girth not including the handle x approximately 5 3/8" wide from the back of the handle to the front edge of the creamer.
The beautiful sugar-bowl measures 2 15/16" tall to the top of the rim and approximately 5" tall to the top of the the knob on the lid x 4 13/16" wide across the rim from outside to outside x 2 3/8" wide across the round base from outside to outside.

***Note on Measurements: All measurements are taken and described as close as possible. Where only an approximate measurement is available we will put approximately in the listing.
***Our Measurements for clothing are taken with the garment laying flat with closures fastened - zippers are zipped and buttons buttoned.
***The Bust measurement is obtained by measuring across the flat chest of the garment from armpit to armpit and then multiplying that number by two. To get the chest measurement simply divide the Bust by two.
***We clean our vintage inventory of surface dirt and dust before we list it on our site. We would not want to receive something dirty so we are not going to send our customers something with original dust or dirt. Therefore, after shipping we generally recommend all items be cleaned before use. This is not always because they are considered unclean but simply to make you aware of the possibility of needing to be cleaned after shipping and handling. This does three things: (1) It helps you know your item, (2) It helps you ensure your item is clean according to your standards, and (3) It removes any dust or grime that may have come from the shipping and delivery process.
***Unless noted in the description, we normally do not polish or repaint our inventory as many of our customers prefer the vintage patina look over a new painted or polished appearance.
***Please pay close attention to the pictures as they may show more than I may be able to explain.
***Please note that sometimes we enhance our pictures for sharpness and clarity.
***We aim to be good stewards of our planet; therefore, we may use or reuse boxes and/or packing that are clean and ship worthy.
***The year of production or year-it-was-made is an estimate based on experience, similar items, and/or appearance.
***Textiles and Fabrics such as linens, tapestries, clothing, tablecloths, or simple craft materials may be wrinkled or have lines upon arrival as they are folded for shipping. It is recommended they be laid out or hung up.
***As is common with pre-owned items they could have little marks that are not so easily detectable - we refer to these as vintage wear and rub marks. While I do personally inspect each item, I can miss small marks that may not show up with regular inside light. That being said, I try to be very picky and careful to make sure the details are explained truthfully, honestly, and upfront.
***Virtually all pre-owned items have vintage wear and rub marks. This is simply a term that we have coined to point out that because: (1) they are older, (2) most likely they are not in their original plastic, wrapping, or packaging, (3) have been stored, (4) transported, (5) and handled - they are very likely to have little, small, or slight discolorations, marks, places, wear, etc. Hence, this is why we often have longer descriptions. We try very hard to make sure you know what we know.
