The four rare McCoy Pottery USA ceramic canisters are in excellent condition. The beautiful canisters are accented with a country autumn apple and nut theme. The canisters are made in the shape of an old style milk jug. Each canister has a lid with a rubber gasket intact.
The largest canister is a number 254.
The next to largest canister is a 253.
The next canister down in size is a 252.
The smallest McCoy Pottery USA canister is a 251.
They are super clean inside and out. They do not appear to have ever held any contents. Given their gorgeous condition and super clean appearance they were most likely kept as McCoy Pottery collectibles.
The largest canister (254) has a dimple or shallow indented line on the off-white side from the maker. The pictures show the area but the color makes it very hard to notice.
The 252 canister appears to have a color chip on the bottom. However, the color and glaze actually blend in smooth with the white area indicating the color and glaze simply did not cover that spot. Also, there is a tiny place under the lid that appears to be from where the color and glaze did not actually cover that little spot.
The 253 canister has a small chip on the inside of the rim which could also have been a little nodule that was smoothed down from the maker. it is practically level with the color and glaze.
There are some little spots where something may have gotten under the color creating little nodules or bumps in a couple of places.
Other than these there are no breaks, cracks, chips, or repair marks on these gorgeous McCoy Pottery canisters. There are some very slight vintage wear and rub places - mainly on the round foot of each bottom where they touched a surface.
The decorative possibilities for these gorgeous McCoy Pottery USA canisters are off the charts. The display case or china cabinet would be enhanced with this beautiful canister set. The kitchen countertops would welcome these beautiful ceramic treasures. The colors of these particular canisters work well in practically any season. Also, the size, shape, and color of these canisters make them different enough to stand out without being too loud. The cozy coppery brown tops with off-white bottoms provide the perfect blend of colors to bring life to any space.
The collector will appreciate these gorgeous McCoy Pottery USA canisters for their excellent condition and stunning milk-churn appearance.
The four McCoy ceramic apple and nut canisters weigh 202.8 oz.
The largest canister (254) measures 12" tall to the top of the handle on the lid and 10 3/8" tall to the top of the rim.
The largest canister (254) measures 5.25" wide across the rim from outside to outside and 7" wide across the bottom from outside to outside.
The next to the largest canister (253) measures 10.25" tall to the top of the handle on the lid and 8 7/8" tall to the top of the rim x 4.5" wide across the rim from outside to outside x 5 7/8" wide across the bottom from outside to outside.
The next canister (252) measures 8.25" tall to the top of the handle on the lid and approximately 7 1/8" tall to the top of the rim x 3 7/16" wide across the rim from outside to outside x 4 11/16" wide across the bottom from the outside to outside.
The smallest canister (251) measures 6.75" tall to the top of the handle on the lid and 5 7/8" tall to the top of the rim x 2 13/16" wide across the rim from outside to outside x 3 9/16" wide across the bottom from outside to outside.

If you are from outside the United States and you wish to purchase this product put in your correct address and it should populate a quote. If a shipping cost cannot be populated outside of the United States it is possible that the item is too big to be shipped or it is listed for local pickup only. However, please check with me to make sure as sometimes there could be system errors. If you have further questions concerning shipping outside of the USA please contact me.
***Note on Measurements: All measurements are taken and described as close as possible. Where only an approximate measurement is available we will put approximately in the listing.
***Our Measurements for clothing are taken with the garment laying flat with closures fastened - zippers are zipped and buttons buttoned.
***The Bust measurement is obtained by measuring across the flat chest of the garment from armpit to armpit and then multiplying that number by two. To get the chest measurement simply divide the Bust by two.
***We clean our vintage inventory of surface dirt and dust before we list it on our site. We would not want to receive something dirty so we are not going to send our customers something with original dust or dirt. However please note that after shipping we recommend all items be cleaned thoroughly before use. This does three things: (1) It helps you know your item, (2) It helps you ensure your item is clean according to your standards, and (3) It removes any dust or grime that may have come from the shipping and delivery process.
***Unless noted in the description, we normally do not polish or repaint our inventory as many of our customers prefer the vintage patina look over a new painted or polished appearance.
***Please pay close attention to the pictures as they may show more than I may be able to explain.
***Please note that sometimes we enhance our pictures for sharpness and clarity.
***We aim to be good stewards of our planet; therefore, we may use or reuse boxes and/or packing that are clean and ship worthy.
***The year of manufacturing or year-it-was-made is an estimate based on experience, similar items, and/or appearance.
***Textiles and Fabrics such as linens, tapestries, clothing, tablecloths, or simple craft materials may be wrinkled or have lines upon arrival as they are folded for shipping. It is recommended they be laid out or hung up.
***As is common with pre-owned items they could have little marks that are not so easily detectable - we refer to these as vintage wear and rub marks. While I do personally inspect each item, I can miss small marks that may not show up with regular inside light. That being said, I try to be very picky and careful to make sure the details are explained truthfully, honestly, and upfront.
***Virtually all pre-owned items have vintage wear and rub marks. This is simply a term that we have coined to point out that because: (1) they are older, (2) most likely they are not in their original plastic, wrapping, or packaging, (3) have been stored, (4) transported, (5) and handled - they are very likely to have little, small, or slight discolorations, marks, places, wear, etc. Hence, this is why we often have longer descriptions. We try very hard to make sure you know what we know.
