The mid-century Lloyd Looms chaise lounge chair is in decent to good condition. The chair has the gorgeous and very hard to find distressed appearance. The chair sits a 258-pound man very comfortably. The arms will swing back to where they are no longer at the sides.

The chair certainly has some wear. The seat has wear as is noticed in the pictures. The woven section and the metal have the distressed worn appearance.

While it is hard to be sure, it is important to notice the loom on this chair. The designs are all the same. Later versions have one larger stripe on one side with a smaller one on the other. It is very likely the loom has never been updated on this gorgeous chair.

There are no breaks or frame concerns on this chaise lounge chair. The chair sets very well. Even though there is a worn place with a little blank area in the seating section, the seat is not falling through. These chairs were made to last. There are some welded places up under the chair to sure up the frames. They appear to have been added after the chair was made. No doubt the chair has been painted in the past. But, it does appear that red was the original color of the looms.

This Lloyd Looms chaise lounge chair came from a family whose grandfather was into everything under the sun. They once received a ceramic serving tray from President and Mrs. Reagan. The entirety of their estate was proof they had an eye for quality pieces.

The chaise lounge chair makes one feel as if they were floating on air. The bottom metal frame that touches the floor would work better on carpet unless cushioned pads were placed on the bottom of the metal legs. If the chaise lounge chair were to be used on the deck or covered porch, it would be the seat that all of the grandkids fought over.

The decorative possibilities for this gorgeous mid-century Lloyd Looms chaise lounge chair are many. The loft apartment would be a great place to showcase this mid-century beauty. Also, the blank spot down in the den may be begging for this comfy chaise lounge chair. Finally, the patio or garden setting would be enhanced with this beautiful Lloyd Looms treasure.

The collector will appreciate this chair because they are rarer than hen's teeth - they don't have teeth.

The mid-century Lloyd Looms chaise lounge chair weighs less than 50 pounds.

The Lloyd Looms lounge chair measures 20" wide x 41.25" tall to the top of the back x 49.5" in length from back to front.

The knee section of the Lloyd Looms chaise lounge chair stands approximately 18 1/8" tall off of the floor.

The lowest curved section where the back starts going upward stands 13.25" tall off of the floor.

The distressed white wooden armrests measure 14" in length x 3" wide in the widest part.

The white metal base measures approximately 20" wide x 29.25" in length.

***Shipping for Everywhere Else on the planet:

If you are from outside the United States and you wish to purchase this product put in your correct address and it should populate a quote. If a shipping cost cannot be populated outside of the United States it is possible that the item is too big to be shipped or it is listed for local pickup only. However, please check with me to make sure as sometimes there could be system errors. If you have further questions concerning shipping outside of the USA please contact me.

***Note on Measurements: All measurements are taken and described as close as possible. Where only an approximate measurement is available we will put approximately in the listing.

***Our Measurements for clothing are taken with the garment laying flat with closures fastened - zippers are zipped and buttons buttoned.

***The Bust measurement is obtained by measuring across the flat chest of the garment from armpit to armpit and then multiplying that number by two. To get the chest measurement simply divide the Bust by two.

***We clean our vintage inventory of surface dirt and dust before we list it on our site. We would not want to receive something dirty so we are not going to send our customers something with original dust or dirt. However please note that after shipping we recommend all items be cleaned thoroughly before use. This does three things: (1) It helps you know your item, (2) It helps you ensure your item is clean according to your standards, and (3) It removes any dust or grime that may have come from the shipping and delivery process.

***We do not polish or repaint our inventory as many of our customers prefer the vintage patina look over a new painted or polished look.

***Please pay close attention to the pictures as they may show more than I may be able to explain.

***Please note that sometimes we enhance our pictures for sharpness and clarity.

***We aim to be good stewards of our planet; therefore, we may use or reuse boxes and/or packing that are clean and ship worthy.

***The year of manufacturing or year-it-was-made is an estimate based on experience, similar items, and/or appearance.

***Textiles and Fabrics such as linens, tapestries, clothing, tablecloths, or simple craft materials may be wrinkled or have lines upon arrival as they are folded for shipping. It is recommended they be laid out or hung up.

***As is common with pre-owned items they could have little marks that are not so easily detectable - we refer to these as vintage wear and rub marks. While I do personally inspect each item, I can miss small marks that may not show up with a regular inside light. That being said, I try to be very picky and careful to make sure the details are explained truthfully, honestly, and upfront.

***Virtually all pre-owned items have vintage wear and rub marks. This is simply a term that we have coined to point out that because: (1) they are older, (2) most likely they are not in their original plastic, wrapping, or packaging, (3) have been stored, (4) transported, (5) and handled - they are very likely to have little, small, or slight discolorations, marks, places, wear, etc. Hence, this is why we often have longer descriptions. We try very hard to make sure you know what we know.
